Your Priorities
Developing property and meeting environmental regulations can be a challenge. Incorporating sustainable building designs, materials, and construction principles early in the process
can reduce the long term operating expenses and life cycle costs of a building while preserveing environmental resources.
Our Experience
Clark is familiar with a number of sustainable design guidelines. One of the most commonly used is the Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design
(LEED) Green Building Rating System. Clark has LEED Accredited
Professional staff that can implement sustainable principals throughout the design process. Clark was part of the team designing the first
LEED Gold Certified project in Minnesota, and has worked on numerous LEED projects throughout the United States. Clark's staff have also assisted clients in meeting the State of Minnesota's B3 requirements for state-funded building projects. Meeting Your Needs
At Clark, we design facilities and the associated infrastructure in a manner that captures value for our clients. Defining the value of a building and its associated property has changed, thinking in terms of just the cost per square foot is no longer enough. The consideration of value now requires a longer term perspective as owners, property managers, and tenants want to reduce energy, operating, and maintenance costs.
