The Groton City Pool has offered a cool place to enjoy a summer afternoon for over fifty years. The City's pool was in need of restorations, since cracks developed and were causing high water usage. Groton wanted the pool replaced with a new aquatic facility.

Clark Engineering Corporation was the team leader for architectural, mechanical and aquatic design. Clark worked closely with the City of Groton to achieve their goals. Clark also did observation and staking for the project. As with most small communities, the budget was a major factor. A large challenge for Clark was meeting the client's budget, which was accomplished by preparing a bid package with multiple schedules.

The new Groton Aquatic Center has a new lap pool, zero depth entry pool, small-scale water features for kids, and a 130' water slide. Clark Engineering Corporation's trusted professional services helped meet the time and financial goals of Groton. The aquatic center will be enjoyed by people of all ages for years to come.
