Fort Pierre Collection System Improvements, Fort Pierre, SD

Clark Engineering has assisted the City of Fort Pierre with multiple waste water projects over the past two years. Projects total over $1,000,000 and included installing several duplex submersible lift stations; installing approximately 1,400 feet of gravity sewer main and manholes, installing 18" trunk sewer main; and installing approximately 19,000 feet of 10-inch sewer force main. These projects represent improvements stretching from the north end of the City to the waste water treatment facility approximately 1.4 miles south of Fort Pierre.

Project Highlights include: Highway Crossing Boring to avoid construction related traffic problems; Railroad Crossing Boring in compliance with stringent railroad requirements; Suspended Bridge Utility Crossings to avoid stream; and Directional Drilling Design resulting in significant construction cost savings.
