Meeting Special Demands Allina Hospitals and Clinics wanted to establish an ambulatory medical center in the southwest Minneapolis-St. Paul metro area that could meet the demands of the area and provide flexibility to accommodate future changes in this specialized healthcare service. Design for Today and Tomorrow Clark created the structural engineering plans for this 2-story, 48,000 sq ft medical facility that could be expanded in the future up to eight stories with an adjacent multi-story parking garage. Challenging site conditions for the new and future facility were addressed by using a deep steel-driven pile foundation system. Satisfied Client This facility has served the public’s ambulatory needs and the client appreciates the flexibility to add capacity as future demands increase.
