Marshall School District #413
The new Marshall High School in Marshall, MN includes a two-story classroom area with a cafeteria/commons space, an auditorium with a production stage and stadium seating. The gymnasium has a competition court with seating for 1720 people. The gymnasium also features a suspended running track.
Clark Engineering provided structural design services for the Marshall High School. The exterior of the building is load bearing masonry walls. The floor system of the two story classroom areas is composite steel beams with a compositie concrete deck, the roof system is steel bar joist and metal deck. The four station gym features top loading bleachers and a suspended running track. The foundation system is conventional spread footing.
