Structural Engineer

We have an immediate opening for a permanent full time Structural Engineer in our Minneapolis office. The successful candidate is able to prepare designs for minor structures or assist in the preparation of designs for major buildings and other structures. We require experience in the design of steel, masonry, concrete, and timber structures.

Qualifications:

• BS or Masters in Civil Engineering (Structural emphasis) from an ABET-accredited college/university
• Successfully passed the EIT exam
• Minimum of 3 years of professional engineering experience in a structural consulting or A/E firm
• Basic knowledge of field observations
• Ability to show ingenuity in design
• AutoCad skills a plus
• Technical and report writing skills
• Must demonstrate a high level of initiative, accuracy, and efficiency
• Must be able to project professionalism and confidence in a positive manner
