Civil Engineer

We have an opening for a permanent full time Civil Engineer in our Aberdeen, South Dakota office. This is an entry level position for a candidate with a degree in Civil Engineering and whose goals include becoming a registered engineer. This is an opportunity to be on a progressive learning track performing design computations, preliminary layouts and designs, research and preparation of preliminary reports and feasibility studies, and detailed inspection and project documentation for a variety of projects.

Qualifications:

• 0-5 years of professional engineering experience
• Basic knowledge of applicable codes and standards
• Familiarity with detailed drawings, numbering, and cross-referencing
• Knowledge of software and CADD operations
• Highly capable of accuracy and efficiency
• Must demonstrate a high level of initiative
• Possesses the ability to cooperate in working with others and accepting assigned duties
• Must be able to travel periodically to work sites
• Valid drivers license required
